Senior Centers
The Office on Aging funds Multipurpose Senior Centers that offer a variety of social and supportive services to enhance the lives of older Washingtonians. In addition, a variety of services are available for the homeless aged located at the Urban Oasis Senior Center. The centers help older persons adjust to the changes the aging process brings, restores their sense of usefulness, aids in learning new skills, eliminates isolation, and expands their role in the community. Noon meals are served at all centers.
