Emmaus Services for the Aging

Volunteers from six churches staff this 7-day-a-week program that serves the homebound and frail elderly residing in the downtown area of Ward 2 (Thomas Circle and Shaw areas). Outreach services include food delivery, emergency homecare, prescription delivery, health screenings and monitoring and assessment of older person's daily living activities.
